We came from out of town and hit this place up on a late night whim. We ordered the baked potato pizza with bacon and garlic fingers. We were so impressed. The flavor of the garlic fingers is phenomenal. The crust of the pizza is soft and not overly chewy. The pizza tasted like a twice baked potato. We agreed that it's the best pizza we've had since we were in New York City! We would drive back from out of town just for the pizza! Highly recommend!

Nice little cozy pizza joint that has a feeling of history. Great food and service. Very pleased with everything we experienced here. Just stopped in by chance while walking downtown BG.

My wife and I decided to eat here after going to a haunted house. We sat down and looked over the menu and chose the baked potato pizza and garlic fingers. I like trying unusual pizza flavors and was not disappointed! I went to the counter to order and the cashier apologized for not taking our order at our table, they were just coming down from a large group. I told her not to worry, we weren't from BG and it was our first time at the restaurant and didn't know what to expect. They brought out the garlic fingers first, about 10 min after putting our order in, and they were fantastic! Their crust is light and fluffy and the crunch was perfect! We would definitely drive an hour to eat here again.

I’ve been eating Pisanello’s as my exclusive pizza choice since moving to BowlingGreen three years ago. Noone else makes it this good, it’s exactly as you order it! The environment is clean, homey, and welcoming to all. If you come in to dine , you’ll keep coming in! Also if you’re coming alone, go with a custom small- The portions are Very filling!

First sober experience with Pisanello's. I went to BGSU for a semester and probably hit up Pisanello's on drunken nights, but everything was good when your not sober. Recently, my teen walked over around 10pm from working at the courthouse, waiting for me to pick him up. He didn't have any money or a working phone. I called the restaurant to let them know that I was on my way. I think Trevor answered the phone. He was super nice and allowed my son to sit, drink water, and order pizza before I got there. The place is a bit older but very clean. Pizza was piping hot and delicious. Their cheesy fingerling(?) is also very good. We were told it doesn't come with sauce and recommended without sauce, but can get sauce if needed. Sauce was not needed. Took left overs home, my other minions loved it too. Give this establishment a try drunk or sober, you won't be disappointed.

We visited during Family Weekend at BG, so all the downtown restaurants were full, but we did get a table right away at Pisanello's. We arrived on the later side, and they were clearly recovering from the main dinner rush. They seem to operate on a bit of a skeleton crew, but they worked hard to provide pretty good table service. Our food took a while to come out, but it was all delicious. The atmosphere is old school pizza joint, with the standard red plastic cups and wood panel walls. If you're not in a hurry, I recommend Pisanello's for great pizza in a cool atmosphere.

I would have sent a pic of the pizza if I didn’t inhale it as quickly as possible. This has all the flavor profiles , exceptional customer service and options of a classic pizzeria.

I have been in BG for over 27 years. But out of the pizzerias in town Pisanello's was a place I stopped going to simply because of how long the wait became. But today I walked in without calling and ordered a large Italian sub and it was made and done in a reasonable time. It also tasted very good and I was very pleased. I will be back for more Italian subs which cost a cool 8 pre tax. The inside is a cozy mix between classic and modern tastes. But it mostly reminds me of old school flavors especially with the retro pinball and arcade machines. Thanks everyone! And shout-out to Chris!
